On March 14, 2020, we made the decision to close the doors to our brand new brick and mortar store, as staying home was the only way we knew how to contribute to the situation at hand. We postponed the March 17th Grand Opening of the business we had been building for the last six weeks, as it was clear that it was not the time to encourage people to gather. It was time to do our part, and begin social distancing.
I spent Day 1 freaking out, Day 2 making a plan, and Day 3 making a prototype.
During the last ten years of running my wooden jewelry business, I have saved small scraps of exotic wood, telling myself “these may come in handy some day.” On day two of self isolation, with plenty of time on my hands, it came to me. Now is the time for all of us to do the best we can with what we have.
Running short on the materials that I need to make my primary product line, instead of stressing and shutting down, why not make the best of what we’ve got? Suddenly thankful for my in-home workshop and years of scrap wood, I got to work, standing at the belt sander while my mind raced about what was going on in the world around us.

All pieces in this new line are intentionally left rough on the back side, because there is no doubt that the days ahead will be rough for all of us. Together we will make the best of the situation at hand.

If the plugs/earrings have not been tried on (never touched an ear at all) and you contact us within seven days of delivery, we can help you get the correct size. For health/hygiene reasons, we can not accept exchanges or returns of jewelry that has made contact with an ear.
Due to high international shipping costs, buyer will be responsible for all postage for returns and exchanges.
Yes, all ear related items are sold in PAIRS. If you select a qty of 1, you will receive two pieces, one for each ear.
